There are several things all us can do to learn more, whether you are a legislator, patient, interpreter or just interested in helping out.

• Schedule an MTI speaker for your club, church or organization. In a half hour presentation, your group can learn more about the growing language diversity in Lincoln, how it affects healthcare, public policy changes and issues involved. Contact us for more information.
• A variety of sites are available that will tell you about the importance of medical interpretation, different cultures and how they affect healthcare delivery, and the new residents and friends in our community. Check them out.  
• Visit the cultural centers in the community.
